Christmas in Berlin

1 Dec

During museum downtime I made it to four of Berlin’s Christmas markets last week:

1.  Winterwelt Weihnachtsmarkt at Potsdammer Platz (“Winter World” Christmas Market)

2.  Weihnachtszauber at Gendarmenmarkt  (“Winter Magic” Christmas Market)

3.  Nostalgischer Weihnachtsmartkt on Unter der Linden (“Nostalgic” Christmas Market)

4. Weihnachtszeit at Alexanderplatz (“Christmas Time” Christmas Market)

In spite of the frigid weather, I had a great time wandering through the alleys, looking at the beautiful decorations, and enjoying a nice warm mug of mulled wine with my friends!  So, here are some pictures to give you an idea of what the different Christmas markets I made it to were like.

A very interesting blog : those Germans really do know how to make a wonderful celebration in the Christmas season !!

    God bless them.
